Program Director

AAPN seeks a Program Director to support member organizations and their staff as they build and execute base building and electoral plans. The Program Director will lead on training, plan development/review, sharing electoral best practices, managing workgroups, facilitating cross-state learning and engagement. Ideal candidates should have experience working in the field (grass roots/electoral organizing) and managers of issue advocacy campaigns, effective trainers, and capable of building consensus and political unity. Applicants should have an intimate knowledge and familiarity with working in AAPI communities, have a grounding in intersectionality and solidarity organizing, and can capably work across differences. This position is an opportunity to build political power for the AAPI community and train a new generation of AAPI leaders.

02.

Data Director

AAPN seeks a Data Director to support coordinated state and national strategies to improve AAPI voter file data and provide coaching to member organizations around how to utilize data towards our shared goal of building a broad-based, powerful, and progressive AAPI political bloc. Reporting to the Executive Director and working to support  member organizations, the Data Director helps to build political power for the AAPI community and train a new generation of AAPI leaders. Ideal candidates will have a track record of leveraging their data strategy and technical expertise towards increasing voter engagement and building political power; building strong relationships across lines of difference; coaching and training; and managing complex projects. They should bring a commitment to racial and social justice, a grounding in intersectional and solidarity organizing, and an understanding of AAPI communities.
